Brien Crean

Brien Crean has a diverse background in software development and IT support. Brien most recently worked as a Software Developer at Spexi Geospatial Inc. from 2019 to present. Prior to this, they worked as a Web Developer at Eventbase and Thinkingbox, where they developed web applications and services using React, Meteor, Node, and PHP. Brien also worked as a React Native Mobile Developer for Vitaliwear on a contract basis. Earlier in their career, Brien worked as a Web and Mobile Developer for Bernie A.I., developing React Native mobile apps for iOS and Android, as well as ReactJS web apps. Brien gained experience in IT support as a Desktop Support Specialist at Electronic Arts and as an IT Technician at Emutex. At Electronic Arts, they configured and repaired hardware and provided support during a migration to Office 365. At Emutex, they configured and installed VoIP phone systems and improved client infrastructure. Brien also worked as a Technical Support Analyst at Sykes, where they provided technical support to customers and designed a troubleshooting tool.

Brien Crean's education history includes completing a Web Development program at CodeCore College in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Interactive Media from the University of Limerick between 2005 and 2006. Brien's undergraduate studies were focused on Information Systems, and they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Limerick Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their academic achievements, Brien also obtained a CCNA certification from Cisco Systems in February 2013.
