Thomas Parry

Thomas Parry began their work experience as a student at the University of Strathclyde from 2009 to 2013. Thomas then worked as a Student Design Engineer at Linn Products Ltd in 2013 and as an Electronic Summer Placement Engineer at the same company in 2012. Thomas also worked as a Lead Electronics Engineer at StrathSat-R from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for electronic system development. Thomas then worked as an Electronic Engineer at Clyde Space Ltd from 2014 to 2018, focusing on high-speed software-defined radio digital signal processing and satellite antenna design. From 2011 to 2018, Thomas worked as a Freelance Electronic Design Engineer, developing electronic circuits for various clients. Currently, they are the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at SPHERICAL since September 2022. Thomas previously worked as an Analog Designer at SystematIC Design B.V. from 2018 to 2023, where they designed mixed-signal ICs for sensing and power applications.

Thomas Parry attended the University of Strathclyde from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Electronic & Digital Systems with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2012, they also received a certification in manual soldering of high-reliability electrical connections from the IFE Institut für Elektronik.
