Andrew Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andrew started their career at STI Optronics in 1988, where they worked as a Senior Scientist until 1992. Following this, they joined Falcon Medical in 1996 as a Program Manager. In 1997, Andrew took on the role of Director of Business Development at Aculight, where they remained until 2008. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Global Business Development at SPIE, a role they have held since 2008.
Andrew Brown's education history begins in 1979 when they enrolled at the University of St Andrews. Andrew pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, which they completed in 1983. Following this, from 1983 to 1984, Andrew attended Heriot-Watt University, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Optoelectronics and Laser Devices. Andrew then returned to the University of St Andrews, where they pursued a Ph.D. in Physics with a specialization in Lasers. Andrew completed their doctoral studies in 1988.
