Annette Minnaar currently serves as E-commerce Manager: Brand & Sales and Brand Manager of E-Commerce at Spier Wine Farm since June 2022. Prior to this role, Annette held positions at Superbalist.com from June 2018 to June 2022, including Jnr. Brand Manager, SEO & Marketing content writer, and Conceptual Sub Editor. Annette's career began at Utopia advertising agency, where Annette worked as a Copywriter from January 2016 to January 2018, focusing on conceptualizing and executing advertising campaigns. Annette is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at IMM Graduate School, a program expected to be completed in December 2025, and has previously studied at the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business from 2014 to 2016.

Spier is one of the oldest wine farms in South Africa, with a recorded history dating back to 1692. Spier's winery has won multiple awards in recent years, including Producer of the Year (Mundus Vini, Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show 2011). We also performed exceptionally at the 2011 International Wine and Spirits Competition (five Best in Class Gold medals and two trophies), and were the top performing SA winery at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles for three consecutive years. The Spier cellar has ISO 22000 certification, is Fair Trade accredited, organically certified and follows the Integrated Production of Wine (IPW) criteria.
