Reetta Hassinen

Reetta Hassinen is an experienced professional in strategy, finance, and business development, currently serving as the Director of Strategy, Finance and Business Development at SPINNOVA® since January 2021. Previously, Reetta held roles at McKinsey & Company as a Business Development Specialist and Global Intern, and at Fortum as a Technology Expert. Reetta also has a strong background in brand development and commercial communications, with interim leadership at SPINNOVA® resulting in the successful launch of four products. Reetta's early career includes roles as a trainee and process operator in various companies, contributing to hands-on experience in bioeconomy and process engineering. Reetta holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Aalto University and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field, complemented by studies at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna.
