Currently serving as Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines since November 2018, Kirby oversees the long-term network strategy and commercial fleet planning. Prior to Spirit Airlines, Kirby held leadership positions at Alaska Airlines, where strategic initiatives were implemented that facilitated the acquisition of Virgin America, and at Southwest Airlines, where contributions included the development of international growth plans and route planning. Earlier career highlights include senior roles at AirTran Airways, US Airways, Northwest Airlines, Holiday Airlines, and PEOPLE EXPRESS AIRLINES, with notable achievements in network diversification, revenue optimization, and scheduling innovation. Kirby holds a BA from Montclair State University and completed Leadership Orlando in 2008.
