Richard Peace has extensive experience in strategy, mergers, and acquisitions within the energy sector. Currently serving as Director of Strategy and M&A at Spirit Energy since December 2017, Richard previously held the position of Head of Business Development for Centrica Energy Upstream starting in April 2012, following a role as Strategy Manager from June 2010 to April 2012. Richard’s career began at ExxonMobil, where responsibilities included commercial planning and business development from August 1990 to May 2010. Richard holds a BA Hons in Economics from University College London, earned between 1985 and 1988, and completed secondary education at St Cuthbert's High School in Newcastle Upon Tyne from 1980 to 1985.
