Zubin Patel has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in the areas of flow assurance and chemical solutions. Zubin currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Finished Products and Flow Assurance Labs at SPL since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Laboratory Services at AFS (Assured Flow Solutions) from August 2021 to June 2022.
Before joining AFS, Zubin worked at Halliburton as the Director of Global Operations for Multi-Chem from December 2019 to July 2021. Zubin also held multiple roles at Multi-Chem, a Halliburton Service, including Strategic Business Manager, Director of Deepwater and Flow Assurance Engineering, and Strategic Business Development Manager for Deepwater Assets. These positions allowed him to demonstrate their expertise in developing and executing global strategies, managing flow assurance applications, and driving business development initiatives.
Zubin's career in the industry began at Nalco, where they worked as a Research Manager from 2004 to 2008. Throughout their career, Zubin has proven their ability to lead teams, communicate effectively with customers, and contribute to the success of their organizations in various roles within the oil and gas sector.
Zubin Patel obtained a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Southern California, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. In 2018 to 2019, they attended the Mays Business School - Center for Executive Development at Texas A&M University. In 2020, Patel obtained a certification in "Learning to Be Assertive" from LinkedIn.
