Alexander Draaijer

GM, EMEA at Splashtop

Alexander Draaijer, the GM of Splashtop for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), is in charge of helping build and lead the company’s fast-growing EMEA operations by increasing sales activities, identifying new market opportunities, and defining the actions required to bring a new dynamic to Splashtop in the EMEA region.

Before Splashtop, Alex spent most of his career working for US venture-backed companies, where he built and managed European & Asia-Pacific operations from inception to going public or getting acquired. He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Lobster Ink, which was acquired by Ecolab. Previously, he was VP of Global Sales at Bynder (acquired by a U.S. competitor), International GM at Double Dutch (acquired by Cvent), VP of EMEA at Rapid7 (IPO), VP Global Sales at Kaseya, EMEA Sales Director at LogMeIn, and Sales Manager for Dell. He also co-founded CounterHack, an official value-added reseller of Rapid7 products and services, and Draaijer ICT Solutions, an IT consulting and custom software development company.

Alex lives near the center of the Netherlands in a little farmer’s village surrounded by woods and water. Together with his wife, they raise their four children and actively enjoy watersports with the family. In addition, Alex enjoys listening to the sound of a car’s engine. Sometimes in an informal conversation, he will ask for a moment of silence if he hears a car engine so he can identify the car. With this hidden talent, Alex has won a weekly radio contest three times on the Dutch Business News Radio (BNR), where they ask players to identify the sound of the car that they’re playing.
