Tola Awani has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They currently work at Splend as an Operations Associate, where they handle onboarding, process improvements, contract T&Cs, payments, and documentation. They also manage projects concurrently to drive growth, retention, and cost reduction. Prior to Splend, Tola worked at Uber, first as a City Operations employee from 2017 to 2018, and then as a Territory Account Manager from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they were involved in Management and Sales as a UK liaison for MO ESTATES LTD in Nigeria from 2013 to 2017. Tola also had an internship experience as a Private Banking and Treasury Intern at Guaranty Trust Bank (UK) Limited in 2012, and as an Audit Intern at Fujifilm in Nigeria in 2009.
Tola Awani completed A-Levels and GCSE's in Maths, Business-Studies, and P.E from Pangbourne College from 2004 to 2008. They then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Finance from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, graduating in 2011. Following that, Tola Awani attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2020, Tola Awani obtained certification in Project Management Simplified from LinkedIn.
