Nicole Perez has been working in the voiceover industry since 2011, when they founded Nicole Perez Voiceover, LLC. In 2016, they began working as a Teacher in the Library for the Chicago Public Library Foundation. In 2020, they took on the role of Learning Specialist at Millers Learning Center (MLC). In 2021, they began working as a Voice Over Artist for SpokenLayer, providing voice over for short-form audio, and as a Voice Actor for Graphic Audio, LLC. Prior to this, they worked as a City-Wide Substitute Teacher for Chicago Public Schools from 2010.
Nicole Perez holds a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in English as a Second Language from the University of Illinois at Chicago - Graduate College. Nicole also holds a Bachelor's Degree in English, with a minor in Art and Secondary English Education from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from the Illinois State Board of Education: Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in April 2012 and English/Language Arts Teacher, Type 9 in January 2010.
