Gemma Lumsdaine

Gemma is passionate about sports being accessible and shares her experiences and expertise with those involved in the sport sector through her role as Disability Lead for Sported.

She has spoken at conferences and events about issues relating to disability and inclusion. In 2021, she was listed in the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100 and was named one of the most influential disabled people in the UK.

Gemma is currently undertaking a Master’s in research at the University of West of Scotland, which focuses on exploring people with disabilities' experiences of sport and physical activity.
