Francisco Tavares is currently the Football Physical Performance Coordinator at Sporting Clube de Portugal and a Lecturer in PGdip in Strength and Conditioning at the University of Lisbon - Faculty of Human Kinetics. With a background in sports science, Francisco has held various roles in strength and conditioning coaching for rugby teams and sports organizations. Tavares holds a PhD in Sport Science from The University of Waikato, a Master's degree in Sports Science from the University of Lisbon, and a Bachelor's degree in Fitness and Health from the University Lusofona of Humanities and Technologies. Additionally, Francisco has worked as a consultant for Science for Sport.
