Prior to this role, Rui Reis worked as a coach and teacher of Physical Education within the Portuguese Ministry of Education from September 2005 to August 2010, gaining experience across various schools. Rui Reis also contributed to the Estádio Universitário de Lisboa as a coach from 2004 to 2007. Education includes a degree in Sport and Physical Education from Universidade Lusófona (2000-2005) and a specialization in Creativity, Innovation, and Change from Pennsylvania State University in 2013.
