Derrick Cooks is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in consulting and business advisory. As the Founder and Director of SpotOn Consulting since December 2019, Derrick leads a global digital and innovation consultancy. Prior to this role, Derrick founded and served as CEO of Think Squad, a startup advisory firm, from October 2018 to November 2019, where guidance was provided to entrepreneurs on scaling businesses for rapid growth. Derrick's career also includes a significant tenure as Founder and CEO of Freethinking Business Consultants from May 2007 to September 2018, and various managerial positions at Standard Bank from January 1998 to April 2007, culminating in roles as Senior Manager and Project Manager. Derrick holds an MBA from GIBS Business School, along with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Business Management and a Bachelor of Commerce, both from the University of South Africa. Additionally, Derrick earned a Higher National Diploma in Project Management from the University of Pretoria.
