Anh Tho Nguyen is a data scientist at Spot Ship, where responsibilities include leading the Data Science division to develop machine learning prototypes for the shipbroking industry and collaborating with stakeholders to identify key areas for challenging projects. Previous experience includes an engineering internship at Additive Flow, focusing on electronics board consolidation and machine learning for additive manufacturing technology, and serving as a laboratory assistant at Texas A&M University, providing tutoring and support in various engineering courses. Anh Tho Nguyen holds a Master of Science in Applied Machine Learning from Imperial College London and multiple engineering degrees from The University of Huddersfield, Texas A&M University, and Houston Community College.

Spot Ship is an enterprise SAAS company that reduces the time it takes a ship broker to charter a ship from 6 days to 2 hours, via an AI powered web app. The company makes use of next generation computer vision and machine learning algorithms to channel position list data into a robust cloud SQL database, which can be queried through a simple userinterface on any device. Optimal ship selection through our platform will cut 90Mt of CO2 emissions annually.
