Dilan Shamji

Dilan Shamji is an experienced engineer with a focus on systems and design, having worked with notable organizations such as Reaction Engines and Transport for London. At Reaction Engines, from September 2019 to September 2021, Dilan contributed as a Systems & Design Engineer. Prior to that role, Dilan worked as an R&D Engineer at Transport for London from September 2018 to May 2019, engaging in projects aimed at supporting technology innovation to enhance transportation in London. Dilan's experience includes participation in a collaborative project with Siemens A/S Turbomachinery Solutions during an industrial training program, where a model was developed to quantify emission delay times. Additionally, Dilan served as a Project Engineer at Tribosonics Ltd., contributing to a project focused on ultrasonic sensor systems for Formula 1 applications. Early career experience includes a position as a Receptionist/Sales Assistant at Globe Opticians. Dilan holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Sheffield, completed in 2018, after attending Brampton College in London.
