Neekon Etemad has been working in the technology industry since 2007, when they began working as a Specialized Swim Coach. In 2015, they became a Full Stack Engineer at Manco Systems. In 2017, they moved to FuelX as a Tech Lead - Full Stack Engineer. In 2018, they joined inPowered as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. In 2019, they began working at Parade as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, where they managed, developed, and maintained two client facing applications, as well as leading a team of engineers. In 2021, they moved to Sprig (formerly UserLeap) as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer.
Neekon Etemad received a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Psychology with a Minor in Education and Applied Psychology from UC Santa Barbara in 2014. In 2016, they completed an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive at Hack Reactor. Neekon also holds a Certified Swim Instructor certification from De Anza Cupertino Aquatics, which they earned in 2007.
