Heidi Banfer

Heidi Banfer is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Spring EQ since April 2025, Banfer previously held the position of Senior Director of Marketing for Consumer Banking at Discover Financial Services, where leadership was provided for marketing strategies across key segments of the student loan business. Prior to that, Banfer was the Head of Marketing for Student Loan Refinance at SoFi, driving revenue during a challenging market period. With a solid background at Sallie Mae, where Banfer managed significant marketing budgets and launched impactful digital marketing strategies, as well as roles at Credit One Financial Solutions and JP Morgan Chase, Banfer has consistently demonstrated expertise in digital acquisitions and marketing analytics. Banfer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rutgers University.
