Role Summary

The Practice Assistant is essential in supporting the members of the local practice management team. The Practice Assistant is organized, detail-orientated and instrumental in keeping our team efficient! With exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional attitude, the Practice Assistant shines under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

Some Day-to-Day Duties Include:

  • Excellent written communication skills including clear, thoughtful and detailed correspondence inside and outside the organization which include ability to greet patients/employees/partners in a warm, confident manner via phone and in-person and produce correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms 
  • Assist in patient escalation by completing in depth chart review and investigation 
  • Highly organized and excellent at planning and organizing in order to schedule meetings and appointments for the leadership team
  • May assist in preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports 
  • Collaborates with team members on various ongoing projects 
  • Help assist and work alongside the Medical Assistants in the clinic 
  • Assist in tracking MA/Front desk error and identity appropriate resolution for process or individual improvements  
  • Will interface with ASC day to day operations 
  • Can include working as a medical assistant on the ASC when needed and applicable 

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • Current BLS Certification
  • CPT1 certification – preferred

Employment Type

This is a full-time non-exempt onsite position that requires early hours, rotational weekends and holidays. This role will be supporting both San Francisco.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $60,000-65,000 annually. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
