Riya Shah

Riya Shah has been working in the data analyst field since 2015. Riya started their career as a Data Analyst at Samay Software and then moved to Internshala as an Internshala Student Partner in 2017. In 2018, they joined University of South Florida as a Health Outcomes Researcher, where they used advanced machine learning to perform a clinically meaningful analysis and prediction of Length of Stay and Mortality Rate of the top 7 risky procedures. In 2019, they worked as a NLP Data Scientist at Saint Peter's University, where they used NLP techniques on 400K data and performed topic modeling on customer reviews to find most discussed topics. In 2020, they were an Informatics Analyst/Healthcare Data Analyst at ASCO's CancerLinQ®. Currently, they are a Pharmaceutical Data Analyst at Johnson & Johnson and will be joining Springbuk in 2022 as a Data Analyst.

Riya Shah completed their Master of Science in Data Science from Saint Peter's University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from BITS Edu Campus: BABARIA INSTITUTE between 2013 and 2017. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn, Lynda.com, and IBM, including "SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis" (2020), "Project Management Simplified" (2018), and "Big Data Fundamentals - Level 1" (2017).
