Thomas Richards

Thomas Richards is an experienced educator and historian currently serving as a History Teacher at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy since September 2018. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of David S. Weber Fellow in Southwest Studies at Southern Methodist University from August 2017 to June 2018, where a dissertation was transformed into a book manuscript and presented to the university audience. Teaching experience also includes an adjunct professor role at Temple University from August 2013 to June 2017 and a history teacher position at Preparatory Charter High School from April 2006 to June 2011. Thomas has participated in multiple presentations as a Consortium Dissertation Fellow at the McNeil Center for Early American Studies and is a Ph.D. graduate in American History from Temple University, complemented by a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
