Maarten Tacq has extensive work experience in the field service engineering industry, particularly in the laboratory equipment and instrumentation sector. From 2011 to 2015, Maarten worked as a Field Service Engineer at Sysmex Europe, where they installed, repaired, and performed preventive maintenance on hightech analytical equipment for laboratory use. Maarten also created service reports, managed parts, and reported actions taken.
Following their role at Sysmex Europe, Maarten joined Agilent Technologies as a Field Service Engineer, focusing on the installation, repair, and training of high-end analytical instruments for laboratory use, including atomic and molecular spectroscopy.
In 2018, Maarten moved on to SCIEX as a Senior Field Service Engineer, specializing in the installation, repair, training, and preventive maintenance of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments. Maarten also provided expert training and solution support to customers.
In 2020, Maarten joined Repligen Corporation as a Senior Field Service Engineer, responsible for the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of instruments in the European Union.
Most recently, in 2022, Maarten started working at SPT Labtech as a European Field Service Engineer, where they continue to provide support for the company's instruments.
Throughout their career, Maarten has gained expertise in the hardware and software aspects of instrumentation, as well as specialist training and qualification. Maarten has a strong background in mass spectrometry, chromatography, and other analytical techniques.
