Paul Thaw has a diverse work experience in the field of structural biology and protein crystallography. Paul started their career as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Sheffield in 2000, where they worked until 2005. Paul then moved to The University of Manchester, where they served as a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant from 2005 to 2007.
In 2007, Thaw joined Molecular Dimensions as the Global Instrumentation Manager, a role they held until 2013. During their time at the company, they also served as the Head of International Sales & Marketing from 2013 to 2014.
In 2014, Thaw joined SPT Labtech as the European Sales Manager for Protein Crystallography, a position they held until 2019. Paul then transitioned to the role of Product Manager - Structural Biology at the same company, a position they currently hold.
Paul Thaw earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Structural Biology/Biophysics (NMR) from The University of Sheffield from 1996 to 2000.
