Spudnik goes beyond the striking red equipment in potato fields. On a cold morning in 1958, with sweat running down their faces, Carl and Leo Hobbs decided there must be a better way to handle potatoes. 

Their development of the Scooper launched Spudnik Equipment Company. Maintaining their spirit of innovation and dedication has led Spudnik to be a world-renowned leader in the potato, sugarbeet, and specialty vegetable industries.

Today Spudnik is a proud member of the Grimme Group headquartered in Damme, Germany. Grimme is the largest potato equipment manufacturer in the world, having been providing solutions for the potato industry for over 150 years.
