Morten Haugaard has a diverse work experience in marketing and brand management roles. Morten started their career as a Product Manager Intern at Yahoo! in 2005, where they focused on defining specifications and analyzing conversion rates. Morten then joined HJ Heinz as an Associate Brand Manager, leading product development and overseeing online initiatives. In 2008, Morten moved to THQ, where they served as a Global Brand Manager, developing marketing strategies and driving revenue for titles such as Dawn of War II and Space Marine. Later, at Square Enix, Morten held various roles, including Senior Director Americas Marketing and Executive Director of Publishing Strategy, where they developed and executed marketing strategies for popular games like FINAL FANTASY XI and FINAL FANTASY XIV. Overall, Morten has demonstrated expertise in marketing strategy, product management, and brand development in the gaming and consumer goods industries.
Morten Haugaard earned an MBA in Marketing from Texas McCombs School of Business from 2004 to 2006. Morten also studied Business and Marketing at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006.
