Rekha Rao

Rekha Rao is currently a Legal Trainee at Squarepoint Capital since July 2023, following a dynamic legal internship career, which includes roles such as Co-Founder and Co-Host of the Think Law Podcast and a Pathways to Law Mentor at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Notable previous experiences encompass positions at prestigious firms, including Shearman & Sterling LLP and Jones Day during spring schemes, as well as a Casework Volunteer role at Advocate, where responsibilities included drafting case summaries and processing legal assistance applications. Additionally, Rekha has contributed as a Student Volunteer at The Access to Justice Foundation and held a legal internship at CITYHOUSE that involved legal research and compliance assistance. As a passionate leader, Rekha co-founded and presided over the LSESU Women in Law Society. Education includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from LSE and ongoing studies at The University of Law.
