Ryan Sopinski

Ryan Sopinski is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as a Senior Quantitative Researcher in CTA/Fixed Income Trading at Squarepoint Capital since November 2020, where Ryan leads the global fixed income financing initiative and has significantly expanded the firm's bond balances. Prior to this, Ryan worked at Citadel in various roles from October 2016 to October 2020, including a position as a Global Fixed Income UST & MBS Repo Trader, where Ryan managed a substantial liquidity reserve program and reduced financing costs through innovative trading platforms. Ryan's career also includes experience at Belvedere Trading, LLC, Blackthorne Capital Management LLC, and an equity research analyst role while studying at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is a Level II candidate in the CFA Program.
