Qingsong Wen has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Head of AI Research & Chief Scientist at Squirrel Ai Learning, where they are leading the AI + Education innovation. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Editor for Elsevier Neurocomputing, where they published high-quality papers. Qingsong also has experience with Alibaba Group as a Staff Engineer, Sr. Manager, and Researcher, as well as a Senior Algorithm Engineer. Qingsong worked at Futurewei Technologies as a Staff Data Engineer and Senior Data Engineer, and also as a Data Science Intern. Qingsong has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology and as a Systems Engineering Intern at Qualcomm. Qingsong started their career at Marvell as an Architect & DSP Engineer, where they excelled in software-hardware co-design.
Qingsong Wen obtained a PhD and MS from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2016. The major field of study was ECE with a focus on Signal Processing and FPGA/VLSI, and a minor in CS covering Machine/Deep Learning and System.
