Brett Matters

Brett Matters is a Senior Software Engineer at Squiz since April 2018, specializing in the development of new features for the Squiz DXP platform, including content editing, AI features, and third-party integration, utilizing frontend technologies such as React with NodeJS on AWS cloud services. Prior to Squiz, Brett served as a Technical Consultant, collaborating with clients to define functional requirements and assist sales teams with accurate quotes. From February 2009 to March 2018, Brett worked at the Department of Human Services (Australia) as an SAP Programmer, involved in SAPUI5 web application development and HANA XS Engine data services, along with experience in complex web applications and data visualization. Earlier in Brett's career, a cadetship as a Mainframe Programmer focused on maintaining and developing legacy system applications. Brett holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from Flinders University, completed in 2011.
