David Settergren

David Settergren has extensive experience in the aviation industry. David currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development - Asia Pacific at SR Technics Group since November 2020. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of DS Aviation Consulting from April 2019, providing consultancy services in the aviation sector. From June 2017 to April 2019, they worked as the Director of Origination and Sales at Global Jet Capital, where they marketed business jet finance products in the Asia Pacific and Oceania region. Before that, from January 2015 to December 2016, they were the Vice President of Aircraft Leasing & Trading - Asia Pacific Region at AerSale, Inc., where they handled the purchasing, selling, and leasing of commercial aircraft. David also held the position of Vice President - Marketing and Sales at GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) from July 2001 to December 2014, where they built and maintained customer relationships and marketed aviation assets. Additionally, they have held various roles at GE Aviation, including Regional Manager and Field Service Support, where they oversaw activities and provided support for engine and service contracts.

David Settergren attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1984 to 1988. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Aviation Management. Additionally, from 1984 to 1986, David earned an Associate of Science (AS) in Aviation Maintenance Management from the same institution.
