Tim Smith is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and design within the engineering sector. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering & Design at SRAM Corporation since January 1996, Tim manages a global organization comprising eight engineering centers across the USA, Europe, and Asia. Prior to this role, Tim worked as an Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory from July 1990 to December 1996, where responsibilities included representing the facility owner in mechanical systems engineering during the construction of the Advanced Photon Source. Tim's career began as a Design Engineer at Perkins+Will, where mechanical systems for large commercial construction projects were designed between August 1986 and July 1990. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
