Branden Buckner

Branden Buckner is a Digital Hardware Engineer at SRC, where employment began in July 2012. During this tenure, Branden designed a front panel interface PCB for radar systems, utilizing components such as a Xilinx Artix 7 FPGA and NXP Kinetis MCU to facilitate communication between radar antennas and processing units. Branden also led the digital team for rapid prototype development, collaborating across disciplines to enhance radar features, and implemented critical designs for RF and digital conversion. Prior experience includes a digital engineering internship at SRC, where MATLAB tools for diagnostic analysis and calibration were created, as well as roles at Lockheed Martin, where peer review processes were enhanced through innovative tools and presentations. Branden holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
