Davor Saric is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud computing, system administration, and project leadership. Currently serving as Head of Cloud Computing at SRCE since February 2008, Davor oversees cloud services, project planning, and hardware/software procurement. Previous roles include Linux System Engineer, where Davor managed academic IT infrastructures, performed forensic analysis, and implemented a central logging architecture. Davor has also led the Microsoft Referral Center, providing licensing and technical support to academic institutions. With a Master's Degree in Information Technology and Comparative Literature from the University of Zagreb, Davor has a diverse background that includes web programming and business intelligence development.

SRCE
The University Computing Center (Srce) was founded in 1971. While it is the oldest infrastructural institution of the academic and research community in the area of application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Srce is still one of the key subjects in planning, designing, construction and maintainance of the newest computing, communication and information infrastructure (e-infrastructure). Srce continuously maintains stable, reliable and high quality operations of the present e-infrastructure and central systems which support it, ensures connection among Croatian academic e-infrastructure with the related European and global e-infrastructure and gives practical, consulting and educational support to the members of the academic and research community in using ICT and acts as the computing centre of the largest university in Croatia – the University of Zagreb.
