SRCE
Marko Ivančić is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in middleware, information security, and software development. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Middleware and Information Security Department at SRCE since December 2019, Marko has also held roles such as Head of Department and Project Manager. Prior experience includes a position as a Software Analyst/Developer at 2e Systems GmbH and various roles at SRCE where responsibilities included IT consulting and project management. Marko's earlier experience at the School of Dental Medicine University of Zagreb involved coordinating the ISVU information system and providing user education and technical support. Marko holds a Professional Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering from the College for Information Technologies and a Master's degree in Computer Networks Design and Implementation from Zagreb University of Applied Sciences.

SRCE
The University Computing Center (Srce) was founded in 1971. While it is the oldest infrastructural institution of the academic and research community in the area of application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Srce is still one of the key subjects in planning, designing, construction and maintainance of the newest computing, communication and information infrastructure (e-infrastructure). Srce continuously maintains stable, reliable and high quality operations of the present e-infrastructure and central systems which support it, ensures connection among Croatian academic e-infrastructure with the related European and global e-infrastructure and gives practical, consulting and educational support to the members of the academic and research community in using ICT and acts as the computing centre of the largest university in Croatia – the University of Zagreb.
