Bob Price

Bob Price has extensive experience in the field of research and engineering, primarily focusing on computer vision, robotics, and machine learning applications. Bob has worked at SRI International as a Principal Research Engineer, where they led projects in robotics and computer vision and also served as the interim manager of the Collaborative Visual Computing area. Additionally, Bob has worked at PARC, a Xerox Company, in various roles including Principal Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist. In these roles, they have worked on projects involving image interpretation, cooperative robotics, perception for augmented reality, and probabilistic graphical models for healthcare analytics and internet-of-things based sensors. Bob has also worked closely with clients to understand technology possibilities and limitations and execute projects in areas such as recommender systems, real-time optimization, and fault diagnosis.

Bob Price received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia from 1995 to 2003. Bob then pursued a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Computer Science and Marketing from 2003 to 2006 at the University of Alberta. Additionally, they were a Visiting Researcher in Computer Science at the University of Toronto from 2001 to 2003.
