Liang Tang's work experience includes a current position as Sr. Principal Scientist at SRI International since April 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at SRI International, including Principal Scientist from 2017 to 2021, Senior Scientist from 2009 to 2017, and DMPK Scientist from 2007 to 2009. Before joining SRI International, they worked as a Scientist at Amgen from 2000 to 2007 and at Tularik Inc. from 2000 to 2005.
Liang Tang has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from East China University of Science and Technology. Liang then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from the University of Alberta. Following their PhD, Liang Tang worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
