Johann Nell is a Senior Engineering Geologist at SRK Consulting since February 2021, involved in significant geotechnical projects including the Nimba Iron Ore Project in Guinea and the Foskor Tailings Complex in South Africa. Previously served as a Project Geologist at GEMET, managing drilling and sampling activities at the Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine. Johann's extensive experience includes roles at Rockland Geoscience as an Engineering Geologist and Civil Blasting Coordinator, contributing to various construction projects and geotechnical studies, and as a Mining Geologist at Anglo American Platinum, overseeing underground grade sampling and exploration projects across multiple platinum mines. Johann holds a BSc in Engineering & Environmental Geology, a BSc(Hons) in Engineering & Environmental Geology, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at North-West University.
