Alan Borland is a seasoned professional in project management and engineering, with over a decade of experience at SSE Renewables, where key roles have included Senior Project Manager for the Dogger Bank Wind Farm and Project Engineering Manager. Responsibilities have encompassed the delivery of cost-saving programs and the management of significant onshore wind farm projects. Prior experience at Nuvia Limited and BNFL involved leading design work for major projects and ensuring robust emergency arrangements, respectively. Alan holds a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Strathclyde, a BA in Business Management from Northumbria University, and an MEng in Product Design Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
