Alexandra Malone currently serves as the Director of Corporate Affairs at SSE Renewables, a position held since April 2019, where responsibilities include policy development, stakeholder engagement, community and government relations, and communications across core markets in the UK and Ireland, as well as international expansion. Prior to this role, Alexandra worked at SSE plc as the Head of Corporate Affairs from April 2012 to January 2019 and held various positions across Corporate Affairs. Professional experience also includes roles as an Originator with the Carbon Capture Legal Programme and Researcher at Natural Resources Canada. Alexandra began their career as a Policy Advisor for the Energy Council of Canada and worked as a Consultant for both the Carbon Storage Research Consortium and Dalhousie University's projects. Alexandra holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from McGill University and two Master's degrees in Resource & Environmental Management and Environmental Management from Dalhousie University and Duke University, respectively.
