Michael D. Ovorus

Michael D. Ovorus, P.E., Leed AP, is a seasoned Senior Structural Engineer at SSOE Group since October 2010, specializing in facilities transportation. Prior experience includes serving as Owner of SEC-Structural Engineering Consultants, PLLC, focusing on heavy industrial facility design from April 2010 to December 2011, and holding the position of Senior Structural Engineer and Associate at Albert Kahn Family of Companies for nearly 25 years. Michael started as a Staff Structural Engineer at Giffels Associates, Inc. and worked as Engineering Manager and Designer at Goodell Grivas, Inc. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from Wayne State University, along with a strong educational foundation from Cass Technical High School.
