Björn Olsson has extensive work experience in the aviation and retail industries. Björn is currently the VD/Managing Director at SSP Sweden since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Flughafen Wien - Vienna Airport as a Senior Vice President - Center Management from 2016 to 2020. At Flughafen Wien, they oversaw the Non-aviation business unit Center Management, including Retail, Food & Beverage, and Commercial Services. Björn was responsible for terminal development planning, retail negotiation and tender strategies, financial reporting and P&L responsibility, marketing plan implementation, innovation, and digitalization. Björn also served as the Head of Retail at Swedavia AB from 2014 to 2016, where they optimized and developed the airport commercial retail business. Additionally, Björn worked as the Commercial Manager Retail at Arlanda Schiphol Development Company AB from 2011 to 2014 and as the Property Manager at Swedavia AB from 2009 to 2011. Björn began their career as a Consultant at Real Competence Svenska AB in 2008.

Björn Olsson earned a Master's Degree in Science and Engineering, with a focus on Real Estate Economics, from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In 2007, they also briefly attended the National University of Singapore to study Real Estate Finance, as well as Stockholm University to pursue Business Administration studies.
