Cecilia Alerius has a diverse work experience. Cecilia started their career in 2008 as a Tour Guide at Apollo Sverige and later worked as a Receptionist at Adecco Sverige from 2009 to 2011. Cecilia then joined SourceTech in 2011, where they worked in Training, Marketing, and Design until 2018. In 2017, they also started their own design company called Alerius Design. Cecilia worked as a Graphic Designer at Alerius Design until 2022. In 2018, they joined SSP Sweden as a Formgivare & Koordinator, and in 2023, they became a Produktionsledare at the same company.

In 2018, Cecilia attended Berghs School of Communication for a brief period of time, specializing in Grafisk Design. However, no degree was earned from this institution.
From 2011 to 2012, they enrolled at Linnaeus University to study Economics. Although the duration of this program was relatively short, no degree was obtained.
Prior to that, in the years 2007 to 2009, Cecilia attended Travel Education Centre, where they focused on Tourism and Travel Services Management. Similar to their other educational experiences, they did not graduate with a degree from this institution.
Additionally, Cecilia acquired a certification in "InDesign 2021 New Features" from LinkedIn in March 2021.
