Joel Ewing-Chow has extensive work experience in the field of safety and security. Joel served as the Director of Safety and Security at St. George's School starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at the South Kingstown Police Department, including Chief of Police, Captain of Administrative Services, Captain of Operations, Detective Commander, and Training Sergeant. Joel demonstrated expertise in strategy development, operational leadership, and overseeing teams of employees in diverse divisions within the department. Joel also focused on accreditation compliance, diversification of recruitment and training processes, and investigating a wide range of criminal activities.
Joel Ewing-Chow holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Roger Williams University and a Master of Science in Management from Salve Regina University. Joel also attended the Rhode Island Municipal Police Academy.
