Maria Mistretta, RD, currently serves as a Senior Clinical Dietitian at St. Joseph's Healthcare System since October 2016, where responsibilities include managing clinical dietitian activities, providing nutrition counseling, and initiating performance improvement projects. Maria developed a COVID-19 Nutrition Support Protocol and collaborated on launching the International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative. Previous positions include Clinical Dietitian at St. Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center and Dietitian at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Maria's earlier experience includes serving as a Healthy Living Instructor for the National 4-H Council and working as a Nutrition Assistant at Hackensack University Medical Center. Maria holds a Dietetic Internship in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a Concentration in Dietetics from Montclair State University.
