Pam Garretson has a strong background in marketing, public relations, and communication strategy. Pam is currently the Executive Director of Marketing & Public Relations at St. Joseph's Health, a position they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Vice President of Communication Strategy at Holy Name Medical Center from January 2022 to April 2023. From June 2017 to January 2022, they were the Director of Marketing & Public Relations at St. Joseph's Health. Pam also has experience at Atlantic Health System, where they held various roles, including Director of Communications, Director of Internal Communications, and Manager of Internal Communications. Pam was responsible for enhancing employee engagement and improving internal communication strategies. Additionally, they worked as the Public Relations Manager at Morristown Medical Center within Atlantic Health System, where they focused on promoting services and maintaining the brand's image through crisis communications and social media management. Pam started their career as a Reporter at Daily Record before transitioning into healthcare communications.
Pam Garretson attended Brandeis University from 1994 to 1998 where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in American Studies. Pam later pursued a Master's degree in Health Communications from Lasell University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016.
