Alonzo Parks IV currently serves as the Assistant Principal of a high school at St. Louis Park Public Schools since July 2023 and has been an Assistant Principal at St. Paul Public Schools since July 2020. Prior to these roles, Alonzo worked as the Corporate Partnerships Manager for St. Paul Public School District, where responsibilities included managing corporate and community partnerships and increasing student participation in related programs. Alonzo founded the 30 for 30 Mentoring program, aimed at supporting high-risk students through mentorship, and has experience as an Assistant Principal at Meridian Public Charter School, overseeing operations for over 650 students. Additional experience includes serving as a Community Liaison/Case Manager at Anacostia High School and as a Community Liaison at the National Basketball Association. Alonzo holds an Ed.S in Educational Leadership and Administration from Minnesota State University, a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership and Supervision from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Howard University.
