Alex Puente

Alex Puente currently serves as the Sr. Manager of US Sales Operations at STAAR Surgical, beginning in July 2023. Prior to this role, Alex was an Associate at RGivingTree from February 2022 to July 2023. Alex has extensive experience at Alcon, where tenure spanned from June 1994 to January 2022, encompassing positions such as Surgical Technical Engineer Manager, Global Service Manager, Senior Technical Support Specialist, and Customer Support Representative. Key achievements include leading multidisciplinary teams, managing significant inventory, supporting global field service operations, and integrating multiple acquisitions into product portfolios. Alex holds a BS in Physiology and Biology from the University of Southern California and AS degrees in Biology and Electronics from Fullerton College and Saddleback College, respectively.
