Alexa Roy-Coates

Alexa Roy-Coates, MLIS, currently serves as the Director of Sales and Product Marketing at StackMap, a role commenced in May 2016 that encompasses nurturing partnerships with library vendors, optimizing sales strategies, developing pricing for new products, and participating in UX testing. Prior experience includes a Business Development Lead position at StackMap, contributing to substantial revenue growth and creating a systematic sales approach. Alexa’s background also features roles as a Reference Librarian at New Canaan Library, where promotional initiatives significantly increased digital usage metrics, and as a State Library Assistant at the Rhode Island State House Library. Educational credentials include a Master of Library & Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, both from the University of Rhode Island.
