Michelle L.

Michelle L. has extensive experience in internal audit and compliance, currently serving as Vice President of SOX & Internal Audit at Stagwell since October 2017, where previous roles included Senior Director and Director of Internal Audit. Prior to Stagwell, Michelle worked at Superior Plus Corp from September 2015 to October 2017 as Manager of Risk and Compliance, overseeing C-Sox, ERM, and Internal Audit programs while managing a team of auditors. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Associate in Compliance and Risk Management at MDC Partners Inc. and as a Senior Accountant at KPMG Canada, where Michelle worked with notable clients. Michelle’s foundational experiences include internships at KPMG Canada, Leo Burnett, and General Motors. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from McMaster University, completed in 2010.
